The DJ's
A true legend of the Belgian club scene. We first met PHI PHI at
Tour & Taxi in the late nineties, which back then was called the La Rocca of
Brussels. With a.o. Marko and Mr Sam regularly behind the decks it was the
place to be in our capital at the time! Already then we used to call him the
expert of retro, as he'd been bringing crowds to a higher state of
consciousness since 1988 in At The Villa and later in Boccaccio, Extreme
and CafΓ© d'Anvers. He is a welcome guest at festivals such as Tomorrowland, ThΓ© Dansant and Ostend
Beach and a regular headliner on the line-ups of our friends at Age Of Love and
Bonzai Retro. As a producer he made big marks on the scene and one of our alltime favorites
will always be his massive track 'Jesus Trip' with Greg D.
On May 4 PHI PHI will close the night with a 02am - 04am set.
Our first moments with Tom Leclercq were at the iconic Extreme in
Affligem, back in the nineties. Tom started DJing in 1988 and it's DJ Fly who got
him into the DJ booth at Extreme and signed him on Belgium's infamous dance
label Bonzai.
With residencies at Zillion and Versuz Tom was also asked to play at the
biggest international dance festivals such as Tomorrowland, Nature One (DE),
Sensation, Dance Valley (NL), Laundry Day, Summer Festival and Bonzai Retro.
As a producer Tom has a hand in many projects and if we have to choose a record
we love to play again and again it is 'Heavenly' by Aspiral, a project he
founded with Mike "Push". Tom's motto behind the decks is "The groove in a
set is essential, if you hit that right you can make a crowd go wild".
We expect nothing less from him on May 4 as he'll
play a 24pm - 02am set.
Known for his famous sets at club Balmoral since 2001, PCP made his
breakthrough in 2002 at The Temple, aka Boccaccio Life in Destelbergen
where he held a historical residency for 7 years.
He was also the DJ of the notorious radio show Rotationz on Topradio and
he started his own label Rewritable Records in 2012. Since the closings
of these groundbreaking venues PCP is a regular headliner at the Boccaccio &
Balmoral reunions at club Kokorico. We're super excited to have him in our DJ booth on
Saturday May 4 from 22pm - 24pm and mind you he is determined to πππππ ππππ πππππ ππππ!
Our resident and founder started DJing in 1994 amidst the full expansion of Belgian dance music as a global pioneering phenomenon. In 1996 he founded dB Continental, a DJ ensemble that played at hundreds of parties with partners in crime DJ Babo and later DJ Kordi. In the late nineties KayMan started playing opening and closing sets at Tour & Taxi in Brussels. He organised the infamous Alcatrance events and after the closing of Tour & Taxi he kept the legacy alive with the T&T by Mr K & Mr B nights.
In the early nillies he became the resident DJ at Barramundo in Mechelen.
With a passion for uplifting house and trance music, he'll warm up the floor for our guest DJs from 21pm - 22pm.
